The first thing you need to think about is what's natural. If you eat a lot of food and don't move much, it's very natural that you'll get fat. Your body adapts.

It doesn't need to be lean and muscular, it adapts to a situation, so it gets fatter and fatter. If you're lifting weights and running around, your body will naturally get better, it will improve, it will become more efficient. So, you have to be clear, if you want to gain weight naturally, what that means for most of you is getting a bit bigger and more muscular.

The best way to do that is through weight training. A good way of doing this is through compound lifting. Compound lifting is where you do an exercise that works two or more muscle groups at the same time.

For example, squats. They work your gluts, your legs, and your lower back all at the same time. Bench press works your chest, arms, and shoulders at the same time.

Lat pull down, or pull ups, works your back, arms, and shoulders at the same time. These are really good exercises if you're going to do some weight lifting. So to recap, if you want to gain weight naturally, do some weight training and eat healthy.
