How To Get A Bowling Spare
Sam Huckle, a bowler for over 20 years, shows you how to get a bowling spare including the hardest shot, a seven ten split.
Hi, my name is Sam, I've been a bowler for 20 years, and today we're here at Rowings Fingey Park. Today I'll be showing you how to bowl. How to get a bowling spare? After your first shot, you may be left with a number of pins, this is your chance to get a spare, a spare is ten points plus your very next ball, so it's very important that you actually spare your spares and not to open your frames.
After your first shot, you may be left with the dreaded seven ten split, this is the hardest shot in bowling, it's the far left corner pin and far right corner pin, the impossible shot. If you do manage to spare a spare, you will see a symbol on your score with just a line. If you do a spare, you will get ten points plus your very next ball.
If your next ball is a nine, your first shot would be nineteen points.
