In this video, I'm going to talk to you about how to get a Gavin Henson body. Gavin Henson is obviously a professional rugby player; however, it's not just rugby training alone which makes him look like that, otherwise every other rugby player would be sculpted and muscular as opposed to just big. What he does is body building specific style training outside of his rugby training, and that's why he looks so impressive.

I'm going to show you two exercises now, the best two exercises for your upper body. I'll show you dips and pull-ups. First of all, dips.

The main thing is my elbows are straight, big range of movement, all the way down, all the way up. What we're doing here is we're building mass in the back of the arms, the triceps, the shoulders, the interior deltoid, and also your pectorals. So, it's really good for building up strength and size in this whole area.

What you find if you do this every day, after a few weeks, it will get quite easy. I suggest adding weights to it. Lock some dumbbells between the feet, or get a weight belt and hang the weight between your legs.

Next, pull-ups. Now, the thing to remember about pull-ups is how you grip. It affects which muscles you work.

If you have a close grip, it's more biceps. A wide grip is more back. I'm going to show you wide grip, because that's the harder one.

Hold as wide as you can, let yourself hang, pull up and slowly down. One more, pull up, slowly down. It's okay to go powerful on the way up and then slowly down, or you could go slowly up and slowly down.
