How To Get A Quiff

Hello. My name is Andrew Jose, of Andrew Jose Salon in Charlotte Street, London. How to style a quiff? Quiffs are reliant on two things.

The first thing is a hair cut that helps, if it is cut into a little tear drop shape and secondly, you will have to use products to achieve it. There are four hair products which would be the most common types of product which would be used for styling of any quiff: Sea Salt spray which gives a very dry mat hold, Wax which gives a firm strong hold for difficult hair, Gel for fine hair and lastly, hair spray to make sure that when you finish styling, the whole thing stays in place. Today, Todd's hair is quite a soft hair but it's a little bit thick.

By matching what can be used, I am going to start by trying sea salt into the hair. So we lift up and work it all the way through until the hair feels really quite wet. Then taking the dryer, I dry the hair right to the root and keep using my fingers to start to work the hair upwards, pulling it forwards and bending the hair so that we have mig.

Here we are, that was the correct amount of hold for his hair and then just to make sure it doesn't go anywhere, we just put a light sprits of hair spray on, just to finish off. So that's a short strong quiff on men's hair.
