Hi, my name's Abigail Oleck and I'm the founder of Beaubronz and fake tanner to the stars, and now I'm going to share with you my top tanning tips. When you have a very fair skinned complexion, what I call the English rose complexion, you've got to be very very careful with the amount of DHA, that's your self tanning agent, that you use. Now at Beaubronz, we have a very special product called Bronz Forever that's been formulated for fair skinned ladies like our model here.

It's basically got more of a pinky tone to it, so it's not going to look too heavy. Now, when you're applying a tan for fair skin, as will all DHA, you want to make sure that your 7 to 10 inches away from the body and that you're applying in light mist movements. But if I show you now the colour, you can see that this is a really light mist colour for fair skin, so make sure that when you're having a spray tan and if you're a very fair skinned lady, that you don't go over 9% DHA that is the cut off point that Beaubronz recommends for out English rose complexions, that way, you get that beautiful healthy glow but no orange tone and that's what's important.

So that's how to get a tan if you've got very fair skin. So for our very fair skinned ladies, in a salon, we would recommend that you go no higher than 9% DHA but you must make sure that that is being applied by a professional. Because that is still a very high level of DHA.

If you're going to be applying a product at home, I would recommend that you use a 4%, and the reason that I recommend a 4% is that you can put the whole application all over and if you decide to go a little bit darker, maybe on your legs, you can double up the next day. There's nothing worse than having too much colour on your face and in a salon, it's applied professionally, so when you're at home, you want to find a product that's a 4% DHA product because that's going to be beautiful, healthy, caramel coloured glow. It's going to look wonderful with fair skinned, coloured skin, with fair eyebrows and eyelashes, especially for natural redheads or natural blondes.

And like I said, if you want to double up on your legs and make your legs a little bit more golden, you can do that 8 hours after the first application. The way that you would maintain that colour is that you would use a very low percent DHA product, something like a 1%. Once you've got your perfect colour, be it from a sunless product in the salon or a retail product you've done at home, you want to find a product that's just 1% DHA that's just enough to maintain your existing colour but isn't actually going to change or alter it.

And that's the way to have a fair skinned tan at home. .
