Okay, so, now I'm going show you how to get fake tan off using a shower scrub. So, if you've found that you've over-applied the tan, or it's in the wrong place, or maybe your tan is coming to the end of its life - because the tan will only stay on the skin for 5-9 days - then what you'd like to do is take a good shower gel. The one we use at Beau Bronze is a mint crystal scrub, and what that does is you have the menthol and the mint which opens up the pores, and you have fruit acid which releases the dead skin cells, and the little granules that start to release the tan.

I still recommend that you use the buffing mitt; I honestly believe every tanner should have a buffing mitt. They're so handy for so many different things. So what you do first of all is you actually rub the shower gel in before you get into the shower.

I know that sounds a bit strange, but it just gives it a chance for the menthol to actually open up the pores and the fruit acids to actually release the dead skin cells. You step into the shower; again, you've got your buffing mitt and give it a really good buff, and you'll find that all that unwanted tan will start to fade away. Then you'll find that you've started to lose any unwanted fake tan. .
