In this video, I'm going to talk to you about how to get Madonna abs. First thing to do is to remember that she's got the genetics, she's been training for years, she looks after what she eats, she has trainers, nutritionists, the whole shebang. It's a lot easier to get a sculpted body when you've got a lot of help.

However, there are a lot of things you can do at home to help you. The first thing to do, though, is to have lower body fat. If you're a little bit cuddly, you're not going to see any abs, no matter how wonderful the exercises are.

As soon as you've got your body fat down, through a combination of cardio training, resistance training, and good nutrition, then you can do some specific abdominal routines to give you a bit more definition. I'm going to show you two. Now, using a medicine ball, so you can do this at home, or if you're in a gym, okay.

If I want, I can grab on with my hands. Or I can do it in the air. In and out.

Now when I do exercises with my legs, moving in and out, I work my hip flexes, these things here and also both my lower abs. And the next exercise you can do is the Russian twist. Here.

Feet up. Rotate. Rotate.

Rotate. Rotate. What this does is work more the obliques.

So, your abs are here, your obliques are here. Do those two exercises and you're covering the whole body. And in terms of what weight to use, I've used three, two kilograms which is perfect for beginner.

As you get more advanced, maybe after a couple of weeks, add an extra half a kilo onto that. Shouldn't be doing more than ten kilos, then it'd be "too body-buildery". And that's some tips on how to get Madonna abs.
