Getting started

If you haven't already set up your ipod or installed iTunes onto your computer, refer to videojug 'How to get started with your ipod' for a detailed instruction.
-
Step 3:
-
Connect the iPod
-
Plug the smaller end of the cable, which is the USB connector, into the USB port on the computer. This can be identified by the USB logo. Plug the other end of the cable, which is called the dock connector, into the base of your iPod.
A 'Do not disconnect' message will show up on the iPod screen.
-
Step 4:
-
Transfer the photos
-
Open iTunes and click on the iPod icon in the Library list. The main display will change to your iPod summary.
Click on the music tab at the top of the display panel. Check 'Synchronize photos from.' Select 'choose folder' from the menu and browse through to select your image folder. This will transfer the images directly over to your iPod. Now click music in the library list. A dialogue box will appear asking whether you would like to apply the changes. Click Apply. The images will now transfer. The resolution will be reduced in this transfer, this is because the size of the ipod screen does not make it necessary to retain all the information.
If you would like a copy of the full resolution size as well, you must first check the 'include full resolution photos' box before you transfer the images to your iPod
When the transfer is complete, eject and disconnect your iPod -
