How To Get Pin Straight Hair

Many women love the look of pin straight hair. The technique is easy to do at home with a little time and a few common hairstyling tools.

I'm going to show you how to get pin straight hair. You need straighteners, hair dryer and a tail comb. You also need sectioning grips, aerosol spray and a heat protector.

Start off by spraying hair with heat protector to protect hair from the heat. Make sure you get it evenly through the hair as you will be using lots of heat to make the hair pin straight. You're going to blow dry the heat protector into the hair.

Section the hair off using section grips. It makes it easier for you to work tidy and clean. I would section off really thin sections when you want the hair to get pin straight, just to make sure you get lots of heat evenly through the hair.

Spray on hairspray from the roots right into the ends. Comb through it again with the tail comb, and with a little bit of tension, make sure you have all the small fly away hair between your fingers. Go as close as you can to the scalp without burning your skin, and run it through the hair.

Put the comb back onto the top of the hair, and run it through once more while the comb is underneath the straightener to make sure it goes straight into the hair straightener. Straighten this as close as you dare to the scalp, obviously vertically down the hair shaft, and make sure you don't bend the hair straightener in or out when you come to the end of the hair, once more, keeping the comb underneath the straightener to make sure the hair goes in straight into the flat iron. So, to finish off, I spray on a little aerosol spray just to tame all of the fly-always and to get some extra shine.

That's how to get pin straight hair. See the difference.
