How To Get Rid Of Chin Fat

This personal trainer's advice will help you get rid of chin fat and have a more defined face in your lovely photos.

My name is Nick Mitchell. I'm a personal trainer in London. I own a gym called Ultimate Performance and here in this gym, we train everybody from pop stars ad soap stars to professional athletes and lots and lots of regular people in the art and science of body composition.

If somebody comes to me wanting to lose facial chin fat, the first thing one actually has to do is look at their overall body fat levels. There is an enormous chance that the overall body fat levels are too high and really, it's a pretty simple way to lose this facial fat. You just control the calories, you increase the exercise, you do all the normal regular things that we would do for somebody who actually came in wanting to lose weight, lose fat and we don't really focus on an excessive amount of facial fat and say we're going to dry fat from here.

What you actually find with fat on the face is at the very very start of the day and start of the fat loss program, if somebody's adhering to the rules that you've set them, you will find that we do skin folds. We do regular skin folds here on the chin and here on the cheek. This is the first place that actually the skin folds will get smaller so fat will come off the face before it comes off anywhere else.

So if somebody comes to me and they've been on one of our diets or programs for a couple of weeks and we find that the face here and here is dropping, 99.9% of the time, they're not following the diet. What that means is 99.

9% of the time, if you follow the right diet, the face, the chin, the cheek will come in. If you want one little strategy because we do work with models and we work with people who prepare for photoshoots, and sometimes, we need to bring the face in and get the face in a little bit more defined at certain times, a neat little strategy for having a more defined face is very simple. What you want to do is drop your carbohydrates intake temporarily.

What that will do is that will help your body to flush water out from underneath the skin. This in turn will obviously bring the cheeks in a little bit, bring the chin in a little bit, and contribute to a more defined face. .
