How To Get Rid Of Large Pores

I'm here today to talk to you about how to get rid of large pores.

There are two main causes of enlarged pores. One is that people who have enlarged pores tend to have oily skin, so it's the body's way of trying to reduce the extra sebum, and also you can have blackheads that look like enlarged pores when they're actually blackheads. The other cause is, as you get older, and because of sun damage, again, the body tries to compensate by producing more oil, because with sun damage you get dry skin, and then that enlarges the pores as well.

So, the main thing is to moisturise, to cleanse regularly using exfoliating gel wash, if possible, use a toner with some anti-inflammatory effects, such as aloe vera, and then to use a moisturiser as well. So, if you're choosing your cleanser and your moisturiser, you need to choose something with either salicylic acid in it, or glycolic acid, which is a type of alpha hydroxy acid. They're very, very gentle acids, so they shouldn't cause any stinging or burning to the skin.

Or something with Mandelac in it. I use Mandelac scrub and Mandelac cream, or gel, depending on if you've got.use a gel if you tend to have very oily skin, and a cream for a combination skin. That's a slightly milder acid, that works very well in reducing the pores.

Or something with Retin A in it as well. Vitamin A, or Retin A, type of cream is an anti-aging cream, and that will help age-related large pores close up a little bit as well. The other thing is to use face masks.

That, again, reduces the amount of clogging-up in the pores, and will help close them up. Try not to use too much product with alcohol in it. Although it has a temporary effect of closing them up, it will dry out the skin and actually conversely make the skin produce more oil, and make the problem worse.
