How to get rid of oily hair. Oily hair can be most frustrating because it does make the hair feel less bouncy and not attractive. Also, it can cause irritation to the skin as you can see here, just a little bit on Glebe's forehead.

Quite frustrating! So, the best thing you can do is to use a clarifying shampoo. Why this is particularly good is that it will cut through the oil. It has no conditioners in it, so it will clean the hair until it is really quite squeaky.

You must check that the hair is completely clean, so just take a small piece of hair from the root, lift it out through your fingers. If you feel any resistance on the finger again, do shampoo. Sometimes, you may need to shampoo two or even three times if you've got a tremendous amount of build-up.

That's okay. Don't worry. If your hair is of longer length, you will need to condition for the health of your hair, so again, just condition on the mid-lengths and the ends of the hair because the roots are completely well cared for by the oil.

So, to keep your hair oil-free and to get rid of oily hair, clarifying shampoo right the way through. That's how to get rid of oily hair.
