This Videojug film is designed to show you how to conceal dark circles and redness underneath the eyes. Learn some tips and tricks to help you look flawless!
I'm here to give you some top tips and tricks doing some amazing videos and I hope you enjoy them. So I'm going to show you how you can conceal redness and dark circles underneath the eyes. The two things which you need, one is a very pigmented concealer.
Also, because we've already done the base, a little bit of the foundation. So this is a real kind of secret makeup artists trick. You use the very pigmented concealer.
Choose a shade that's about one and a half shades lighter than the skin tone with either a little bit of a pinky tone or a little bit of a peachy tone. So what you do is you actually just apply the concealer first as close to the bridge of the nose as you can. Take it all the way up to the rim of the eye blending as you're going.
This will make the very dark circles and the redness disappear. It kind of neutralizes the skin tone so that you have this amazing almost airbrushed look. The one thing is though since it's that little bit lighter than the natural skin tone you're going to have to kind of match it up to the rest of the skin tone which is why that little bit of foundation will come in handy.
You just take a little bit of foundation and you run that on top. Blend the two together so that you have this really flawless airbrushed look. You can use a little bit of the concealer across the lid just to neutralize a little bit of blue tones across the lid as well.
So just to recap what we did was we used a very highly pigmented slightly pinky concealer which was about one and a half shades lighter than the skin tone, went as close as we could to the inner corner of the nose, the bridge of the nose, all the way to the outer corner and blended that down with warmed fingertips. Then just to match it shade-wise to the rest of the face we took a little bit of the foundation and placed it on top and blurred then then. We then used a little bit of the concealer across the lid to neutralize blueness and redness on the lid as well.
So you're kind of prepping the eyes ready for the eye makeup as well. That's how you get rid of dark circles and redness underneath the eyes.
