In this video, I'm going to talk to you about how to get rid of saddlebags. Saddlebags, along with muffin top and love handles, refer to fat around the midsection. So, to lose saddlebags, you need to do two things.

One, you need to sort out your nutrition. And secondly, you need to exercise. In terms of nutrition, always remember to eat little and often, maybe four or five small meals a day, each meal with a little bit of protein.

Have a lot of fresh fruit and fresh vegetables and stay away from alcohol and processed foods because they won't help you. Another important thing is drink lots of water, your body is dehydrated. If it's dehydrated, chemical reactions don't work correctly and you'll find it harder to lose weight.

In terms of exercises, cardio and resistance training both help you burn fat. It's not just cardiovascular. What I'm going to show you now is a resistance training exercise that is suitable for any weight.

It's going to become like cardio because we're going to do lots of reps. We're going to do a press-up squat thrust. First of all, let me demonstrate each individual component of the exercise.

Press up, hands on the floor, feet back. Slowly go down and come up. If it's too heavy or it's too difficult, just do a small movement.

I don't recommend putting your knees on the floor because then you lose out on your abs getting involved. My body is completely straight. The second component works more of the lower body.

Is called a squat thrust. So you know those two exercises, now we're going to combine them to a press-up squat thrust. It's really hard on cardio and is the most advanced way of burning fat and getting rid of saddlebags.
