How To Get Rid Of Stretch Marks

Some helpful insight in the various ways to relieve the depth and discoloration of stretch marks. Some helpful insight in the various ways to relieve the depth and discoloration of stretch marks.

Step 1: Steps

So there's no easy way and it can take time. But they will go away eventually. So what causes them is when you lose a lot of weight very quickly, when in pregnancy, the skin stretches, and that amount of stretching basically causes the skin to scar, and that produces the stretch marks.

So what you need to do is to try and improve the skin regeneration, skin healing around the stretch marks and also to reduce the discoloration and depth of the stretch marks. So there's various different ways of doing this. Unfortunately, if you got hereditary predisposition then they are much more difficult to get rid of.

Exercise is quite a good way to get rid of them as well. There are various different creams and lotions that you can use. The main thing is to find something with Retin-A in it, which will help improve skin regeneration and healing of the skin.

So something by SeSDERMA called Ascises cream is very good. That's got Retin-A in it as well and it's got soluble collagen, which helps healing. And also it's got rose hip oil and pumpkin seed as well, which also helps skin regeneration.

Then also, you can use a derma roller, which is using very, very fine, small needles to puncture the skin. It doesn't hurt at all because the needles are so fine. And that improves the absorption of the RETIN-A into the skin and makes it work better.

And also the act of the very small needles helps encourage skin healing around the area. Then you can use lasers as well to, again, help heal the skin, and to reduce the discoloration. You can use something called the reslin betel.

The results are quite variable. How that works is just stretching the stretch marks so that you don't get the depressions formed by the stretch marks to reduce the appearance of them. But you do need to have that treatment every 6-9 months or so.

Micro dermabrasion is also a good way to reduce the discoloration and improve healing. You can use peels, but then again, the results are a bit variable. So anyway, I hope I've been helpful in giving a little bit of advice on how to improve your stretch marks.
