How To Get That Perfect Natural Eyeshadow Application
Eye shadow application is a very important and vital part of make-up. Applied correctly, eye shadow can make anyone look stunning. The video shows how to apply eye shadow in a proper manner so as to carry it off with the least amount of hassles and effort.
I am using Rimmel London products to see how to get that perfect, natural eye shadow application. I would be using the dust eye shadow and smoky brown today. This is great, you have four different colors to work with, from the lightest all the way through to the darkest.
So, what you want to always remember is always start with the lightest, pop it all the way over the lid and pop it over the way to the brow as well. You are not going to see much of the color on this one. Just even out the color of your eyelid.
And then, take a second color and dust it over. Don't worry as well if you get to fall out of the shadow, you can always get it back with the brush afterwards. She got lovely brows in the color just across the lid section and that's all you need to do.
And then, we will take bronze color here and just press it in the outer corner of the eye and just blend it backwards and forwards, you are not going to create anything too heavy, this is just a day to day normal eye and then, with your darker shade, this is great for popping in the crease of your eyelid just to get a lovely, lovely contour and depth to the eye, you can also use it for underneath the lash line as well if you want to join that color up. It depends on what kind of a look you are going for, so very, very little product, and just work to that crease area by just blending it backwards and forwards, don't go too low down to let blend that. You can go in circular motion, you can go backwards and forwards, it doesn't really matter so you got that lovely two-tone effect going on.
You can, if you want, bring it down on top of your copper color that pops on. Just let that color finish quite smoothly then blend, then it's all about the blending, don't want any lash lines. That's how we apply a really nice shadow, what I would like to do to finish that is take very lightest color which acts as a free piece for highlighter as well, just pop that on your eyebrow over here.
That's a really, really natural color so if you can, if you want use the very darkest shade and do underneath the lash line. Now that we have finished applying the eye shadow, it is important not to forget your lashes, so if you are lucky like Ally, you have beautifully long eyelashes, then make sure that you curl them first and then apply mascara. What that's going to do is to really open the eye out.
So, we are going to start by applying the lash accelerator on the top of the lashes just to get that coat and what' great about this mascara as well is it's really nourishing, it will encourage your lashes to grow. What's great about this lash accelerator is it's got really, really fine wand, you can see all the little bristles here that is really going to get every single lash and great for the bottom lashes as well. So, now that you have applied that, you can apply at the bottom as well if you can just look up for me, this is really small amount with that great wand.
So, there you have a very, very low every day eye shadow look. .
