How To Get The Kate Moss Smoky Eye Look

Make-up artist Jo Reid shows you how to do the sexy, sultry look that Kate Moss pulls off so well. Make-up artist Jo Reid shows you how to do the sexy, sultry look that Kate Moss pulls off so well.

Prime the skin with foundation and translucent powder.

Apply a smoky eyeshadow from the base of the eyelashes up into the socket and blend the edges.

Use a thinner brush to apply a line of eyeshadow along the lower lashes.

Apply black kohl pencil along the upper lashes and blend the line with a sponge pencil. You're aiming for a 'slept in' look so the lines don't have to be neat.

Wipe a small brush over the tip of the kohl pencil and draw a line along the lower lashes, keeping as close to the lash line as possible. Run your fingers over the line to make it more smudgy.

Use black mascara and coat the upper lashes by wiggling the mascara wand from the base to the tip of the lashes. Use the end of the wand to brush a little mascara over the bottom lashes.

Apply under eye concealer and blend it down and out with a concealer brush.

Apply a natural cream blusher over the cheekbones. Jo uses an iridescent blusher for a glossy, dewy look. Use a brush so you don't apply too much at once, and brush a little over the forehead, nose and chin to balance the colour.

Finish the look with some lip gloss, apply with a lip brush and pat it in so it doesn't look too perfect.

wow unbelievable, she made her ugly and kitschy ! that's not the smokey effect anyway... maybe that's the hair and the weirdest lipstick ever which made this clowny look...

Weird that the concealer is put on after the eyeshadow.... Looks good though! Bit concerned about the effect that stretching the delicate skin would have on the eye in the long term.
