How To Get To Sunyshore City

Sunyshore City is located in the Sinnoh region and is only accessible in Diamon, Pearl and Platinum versions of the game.

A lot of people have trouble getting to Sunyshore City, but this is only at a certain point in the game. This is because the route through Sinnoh actually takes you past Route 222, the entrance to Sunyshore City, quite early in the game, but you will be refused entry. There is a man at the entrance of Route 222 who will block your entry, saying that the city beyond is suffering a power cut.

Later in the game, however, you will be able to gain entry. Progressing through the game, you will find yourself at the Sky Pillar., taking on either Dialga in Diamond or Palkia in Pearl or Giratina via the Distortion World in Pokemon Platinum. After you've taken down these monsters, Route 222 will open up. Once you are on the route, the journey is fairly easy.
