We come across things like casting and equipment side of things but now, the actual, how to fish for trout, what to do when it is out there. So, got a fly choice or a spin choice, most of the time, we do fly fishing but I will demonstrate spinning, too. When fly fishing trout, I like to consider what the fly is and the tiny little midge pupa in a large fish pun is it dumps off.

And I am going to always think about that when I was doing the fly. If I cast a fish, I have seen then, it is different then. I am trying to entice the fish, take immediately, but if I do this, putting the fly out there, we are trying to copy, imitate the fly always thinking what they got to be doing.

Now, the moment, a steady figure of trees would be my first choice. A steady figure of it is great because it does not do anything, no jerky movement but it just keeps it coming back to you at a steady pace. You could also accelerate it, often good if the fish is following and if you could see a shape of a fish, then you could suddenly accelerate in the fly, then taste the fish to chase the fly, also stopping the fly to test the fish to take the fly.

So, lots of things to try. I like to stick with one more movement but just keep a little stitches there and only experience will teach you these things. Similarly, if fishing a midge pupa or a small nimes, then once you are out there, first off all, considering depth.

If it's a heavy fly, it's going to sink towards bottom and I am always considering the wheels from way above the fly cutting wheel and then I am going to retract it immediately. More often, if I am casting a small fly out there and I am fishing it slowly. Surprising small little stitch at the end of the fly line is to make the fly feel little life there.

That's what we want. We want to impart life to the fly, hopefully to the trout or whatever fish you are fishing for. So, small flies, either fish on the drift or within the tree hole or letting the wing tip fly line round or like impart small movements or the steady figure of pace or a low pace.

Try fly fishing, you have got lots of things to consider like flow of the water, the drag on the fly, what we don't want to try in fly fishing is to have a mess of drag in a river fishing. We want the fly to sit there and go with the current perfectly and not be dragged through or naturally and on a still water, try fly fishing. We don't get a chance as often as we like, can be great from one fish to feeding on especially on the emerging midge pupa.

And we are always watching fish that are nearly feeling in the surface rather than on the surface. But again, once you see the fish feeding, in the surface is a slope rather than a big splash at the fly and we are waiting for the take and it's the old pause before we strike and that is very important. Got to be the queen or whatever the scene, this one is a big one.

Whatever the pause before you lift into the fish, that is very important. Now, taking fly fishing out now for a moment and we go back to what I call the kids method or the beginner's method of the fishing spinning. Once again, this is the fly fish we use, not allowed to spin in but we will demonstrate the technique.

We just make a short cast into the lake with a spinner. What's it out there, that is a little wave in that spinner so we cannot stay it longer so we are going to retreat it and a little titch in the rod tip and a retreat back and there's a play on that lever that is going to spin around the lever unless you retrieve and hopefully that is just putting enough life in it to make it look like something a fish wants to eat. If you watch that lever coming through the water you can see that spinner blade and everything you do with the rod tip thing at the rod tip and thing at the lever.

Two methods explained how to fish, one with the fly and with the spinner. .
