I am going to talk about how to grow salvias. Salvias are very large group of plants, includes shrubs, abacus and perennials and also herbs. Common sage is actually salvia.

Salvias need a hot sunny and well dried site and they absolutely hate sitting in water. Salvia caradonna is one of my absolute favorite salvias. It is a clump of forming perennial with grey green leaves as aromatic foliage with which is actually resistant to tear, very, very helpful.

Salvia caradonna has the most beautiful vibrant blue violet flowers. And although it prefers to be in the sun, it will also tolerate some shade, makes it very, very useful plant. It likes a well-drained sandy soil.

It is drought resistant once it is established. The only care it really needs in the garden is to judge head, that is to remove some of the old flower heads after they appear, and it's what keeps it flowering quite often after the first frost. Keep it watered in drought periods but otherwise it is really a trouble free perennial.

So, Salvia Caradonna really is a very easy perennial to grow. Other than requiring full drainage which means you might need to dig in a little bit of compost, it really doesn't need much fertilizer. It's generally all round easy to grow.

So, there are my tips on how to grow Salvia Carodonna. |If you are one of those who take pride in your gardening skills and would like to grow some useful plants in your garden, then you need to watch this video.
