Hello, my name is Emma Thompson. I am an independent beauty expert working for Melvita, one of France's largest organic brands. And today, we are going to be looking how to give your skin a deep cleanse.

It is really beneficial to do this about once a week. If you live in a city and you need to deep cleanse your skin, this is going to give you a real glow. So we are going to start with a facial cleanse, using a two in one cleanser that also contains the toner and the cleanser.

So it has got a lot of hydration in it. So, the first thing my friend is going to do is use a two in one cleanser, to deep cleanse her skin and to give us a good basis for our deep cleanse today. So she is going to apply about five, between five and ten peas worth, that's probably enough, to her face.

And you can apply this to dry skin because this also contains water which is going to cleanse the skin. So Fiona is applying that in circular movements. We always use circular movements when applying facial cleanser because that encourages the dirt to be released deep within the skin.

So you do not need to spend very long on this. If your skin is very dirty, you can do this twice, but this should be fine. And then Fiona, she is going to use splash settle so that we can have our bases for our exfoliator.

The next step is to use a gentle exfoliant. Exfoliation is very important for deep cleanse because it is going to encourage the dead skin cells to be released and that would give us a lovely basis for our deep clean that is the next step. So Fiona is now going to apply about five peas worth of exfoliant.

So, it is just a small amount, you do not need much for that. You are applying this to damp skin which is great because it is going to make your product much more gentle. And a little bit of water means that the product will move easily across the skin.

Again, move upwards and as you can see, Fiona is spending a little bit more time on the areas around her nose and her chin where the congestion and dirt built up. And is more gentle around her cheeks, where the skin is a little bit more delicate. The final step of our purified cleanse is to use a lovely mask, which is going to dry all the impurities on of the skin.

And today, we are going to use Melvita, one which also contains real clay, which is very purifying. So what we are going to do now is apply the mask to Fiona's skin. Again, the skin is damp which means that it is less strong so it is going to be absorbed but not going to dry the skin too much.

Now this is specially designed to do exactly what we need, which is deep cleansing. That is fine, but just apply again upwards. What this is going to enable the skin to do is find all that those impurities and draw them out.

So again, try and concentrate more of the product on the areas around the T zone, where most of the moisture congestion and the dirt gathers. And you can sit back for five minutes and let that dry and you really do need to let the clay mask dry so that it draws out all the impurities. And then, when you are finished, you can simply splash on top with cold water so that you don't open the pores too much.

So that is how to give you clean skin.
