Today, I'm going to show you how to do Charlize Theron's hairstyle on my model, Hanna. So basically, what you do is you can spray the hair with a bit of heat protection spray. This is a heat shell and then I'm just going to take sections of the hair.

You can use a comb, which is better for the reason of… it's a bit easier to section the hair and just part it down the center. Take the sections about an inch and a half thick, because what we're going to do is actually leave the brush in the hair; just to section. You just clip it out of the way and do this to each section as you're going through each section you do.

Pick it up out of the way just so it's a bit easier for yourself, I mean, if you want to use four clips, then use four clips. Generally, you only need two but to make sure that's a bit easier, use as many as you can, use as many clips as you like. Okay, basically, just break the sections down into the width of the brush and come it through first.

Now, then, when you blow dry, make sure you keep the hair dryer down the hair, helps keep it smooth and watch yourself so that you don't burn your scalp, and if you just leave the brush cemented in the hair on that side, just leave it to stay. Now, you do this all the way up to the crown, follow through to the sides and we'll show you at the end how it will look okay. Now, I'm taking the sections with the clip and if you're comfortable enough to do that, by all means, do that, otherwise you can just use a comb and you can bend.

It's a bit more precise and you get a bit more control as well for it can be quite fiddly with the clip, so when you go on to the next sections, what you can do, just the section you have just taken, you need to have away. Then you just pull it out, you split the hair in to twist with your fingers and it's almost like platforming, just leave the same again, with the next section, lift up the prior section you've just taken, get it out of the way. When you're pulling the brush, make sure you hold the root of the hair, you can bend, as you can pull quite hard; it can actually hurt a little bit so again, just split the hair in half twist with your fingers, left side, then take the next section down and proceed again making sure you keep the hair dryer smooth on the hair.

We're on the last section now and what you can do, you can actually pre-roll the brush into the hair and I didn't say before when you're revolving with a brush, make sure you keep twisting your hand and make sure you're focusing just to rotate the brush till it grips it into the hair and you can just hold that; cement it, you can pull on it just to get a bit more rudeness, push it for a bit more rudeness and just roll up the hair slightly, slowly swan the brush so that you're going to get a little bounce and again, with this, you don't have to do much, plait the hair so much underneath because you're going to break out with your fingers after, anyway. I'm just going to ask Hanna, flip over, if you just flip your head over for me so you flip your head upside down, just run your fingers through and while your head's upside down, I mean, if you can just spray on a little hair spray, and the reason for flipping the head over is just to give the hair a little rudeness; a bit of extra rudeness. You can actually leave the hair very regimented curl but this is just to make it a little more subtle.

So there you go, that's how you style your hair like Charlize Theron.
