How To Have Long Lasting Make-Up
Make-up artist Jo Reid shows you how to get your make-up to stay on all day and last into the evening.
Use foundation primer to create an even skin tone.
Apply foundation onto your eyelids as a primer from the base of the lashes to beneath the eyebrow.
Apply translucent powder with a blending brush over the primed eyelids.
Apply foundation on the areas of the face that have redness, blueness, or are uneven.
Set with translucent powder.
Apply the rest of your make-up as normal and when you've finished the look, spray it with a water spritz to help the make-up stay in place.

whats alabaster please help thanks
you did a faboulous job!
I thought foundation was the primer...what the heck is primer then?
Apparently if you don't have a primer you can use moisturiser, although allow your skin to rest after your 3 step process of cleanse, tone and moisturise. After a few minutes apply a little more moisturiser on the areas suggested as though it's primer and then apply your foundation. Sounds as though it could get a little slimy!
Nice, but not practical for me. Ideally you want your make up to be long lasting every time you go out, which is usually a M-F deal for most of us; but for the foundation alone in the first 30 seconds she went through 3 different brushes. As someone else said, way too many steps.
this model got uncomfortable half way through, because of the makeup artist this model doesn't really need any makeup. So why spend so much time putting on? rather just put some makeup podwer with brush, DONE!
Rimmel have started doing a really cheap primer at Boots, theres 3 different types for red skin, dull skin etc. its good stuff, http://www.boots.com/brandtreatment/product_details_brand_treatment.jsp?productid=1083289&classificationid=1043003 u should try that
i'm sure it helps that the model has perfect flawless skin...
Is there anything else you can use instead of foundation primer? I cant find any anywhere!!
