How To Have Longer Lasting Lipstick
Make-up artist Lisa Glassock shows you how to keep your lips looking great all day, so you won't have to keep re-applying your lipstick.
Step 1: You will need
Scrub away the top surface of your lips with a damp toothbrush to get rid of dry skin cells.
Use a non-petroleum lip moisturiser on the lips to moisturise the fresh skin.
Blot with a tissue to remove any excess cream
With a brush wipe a light concealer over the lips
Use a sharpened, neutral lipliner around the edge of the lips
Apply lipstick to the back of you hand then apply to your lips with a brush
Blend a thick layer of lipstick into the lips and pencil line
Open mouth slightly to apply lipstick into inner corners
Place a thin layer of tissue over the lips and apply loose or pressed powder through the tissue to set the lipstick in place.
Apply a final layer of lipstick to give a long lasting glossy finish.
Tips & Comments
The powder with a tissue really works!
i have tried it well it does work i must sayyyy
It's hilarious that she keeps talking about bacteria transfer in this clip. If you watch any of her videos she uses some of the most unsanitary practises I've ever seen. Keep in mind she would be using her makeup on hundreds of models/actors and she continually uses product straight out of the container, even mascara and liquid eyeliner! Blech!!
She looks good both with/without lipstick, lol. I didn't know makeup had to be so complicated. But thanks for the petroleum advice. ^^
Yep, I agree. The girl does not need plucking, and pretty she is. Good tips, too =)
people said the girl needed eyebrow trim but I think she is gorgeous looking
