How To Import Specific Songs Into Your iPod Shuffle
The iPod Shuffle is easy to use and easy to fill up with music. Follow these easy steps to learn how to customize your Shuffle playlists.
iPod Shuffle, a USB dock connector and a computer with the latest version of iTunes on it
Step 1: Get Connected
Plug your Shuffle into the USB dock connector, and the dock connector into an empty USB port on your computer. Wait for iTunes to launch automatically
Step 2: Choose Your Songs
Click on the iPod Shuffle icon in the source list on the left side of the iTunes window. Click on the Contents tab at the top center of the iTunes window, and then choose a playlist you want to put on your Shuffle from the Autofill panel at the bottom of the iTunes window. Click Autofill, and your chosen songs will be put onto your Shuffle. To load your Shuffle with songs that are in your iTunes library but not in a playlist, just drag and drop from your library onto the Shuffle icon in your source list.
Tips & Comments
spends too much time showing us what we know, connecting the ipod and then rushes through the software. Video closups obscure the location of iocons. Can't find the shuffle icon, can't find auto fill, can't find the user library, find anything. Still not done. Still can't use my ipod. This is not a user friendly gadget. I got mine free with a promotion and this is a really bad experience. I am glad I didn't waste money on this. if they spend as much energy hooking us up to our music as they do trying to get money out of us maybe the unit would be useable.
