The sort of things to improve your performance would be increasing the number of days each week you go out running, increasing the volume of training you do, and increasing the variety of speeds you're training at.

You should also be thinking about some regular strength conditioning to keep up with your aerobic conditioning or else you'll get injured. You might also want to join a club or get some coaching input. .
