How To Increase Your Metabolism
Metabolism is the essential physiological process of life. Heartbeat, breathing, digestion, they're all part of metabolism. A high metabolism is key for healthy living. Find out how to raise your metabolism simply and easily.
Step 1: How It Works
There are two types of metabolism: Catabolism and Anabolism. Catabolism occurs when the body breaks down food as fuel. Anabolism occurs when that fuel is used to build and repair muscle and tissue.
Step 2: Bulk Up
The easiest way to boost your metabolism is to exercise with weights. You'll build muscle mass and raise your anabolic metabolism rate. It'll stay higher too, even the next day, as your body recovers. Aerobic exercise, like running, also raises your metabolism. But the boost won't last as long as the one you get from resistance training. It's important to include cardio exercises in every workout.
Step 3: Eat Small, Eat Often
Catabolic metabolism rises during digestion. So eat small meals throughout the day. Healthy snacks will keep your appetite under control, and your metabolism high and steady. Choose whole foods. Processed foods are already broken down and easier to digest. Make your body do the work, by eating whole grains, fruits and fiber.

Bulking up surely helps in losing weight, however not everyone (especially females) wants to bulk up. In that case aerobic exercises are essential. Apart from processed foods, I would say that in order to lose weight one should avoid junk food or any food that is rich in fats. Foods that are high in sugars should also be avoided as are soft drinks / soda drinks. For more weight loss information visit: http://www.how-to-lose-weight-fast-system.com
@ JJaMeSSS: well yes, your not going to see a change in your body straight away, and you also need to include exercise with a healthy diet to see improvement. I've noticed that since i changed the way i've been eating, i've been losing and keeping weight off. I used to eat the usual 3 meals a day, but now i've been eating healthier, smaller meals more frequently throughout the day and my weight seems to stay down. i definately think this is a much watch video for people who want to lose weight :]
Done? Yeah.. after a few months, dah!
