If you're an IPhone user who's curious about Android, you can now install Android on your IPhone. One of the easiest ways to install Android on an IPhone 2G/3G is BootLace 2.1.

With BootLace 2.1, you can now install Android 2.2.

There are a couple of things you'll need before you can start. First of all, you'll need an IPhone 2G running IOS 3.1.

And you'll need to jailbreak your IPhone before you can install Android. Jail breaking your IPhone is definitely not supported by Apple or by Limetree. If you meet the requirements mentioned, then the following steps will allow you to install Android on your IPhone.

Step One: Join your jail-broken IPhone. Run Cydia from your IPhone SpringBoard and add http://repo.neonkoala.

co.uk as a repository. Tap Add Source and then you'll need to install BootLace.

Step Two: Once you've installed BootLace, start up the app from the home screen. Step Three: From BootLace, you need to install Open IBoot. Step Four: Once Open IBoot has been installed, tap on the IDroid tab in the bottom row to install IDroid.

Step Five: Once IDroid has been installed on your IPhone, tap the Quick Boot tab in the bottom row, followed by tapping on the Android logo. Your IPhone will now restart and boot into Android. That's it! You're done.

You now have Android 2.2.1 FroYo on your IPhone.

Once again, this is a very risky procedure. It might well go wrong. You're going to invalidate your warranty, and you might not be able to use your IPhone again, so think carefully before doing this one.
