How To Install Office 7

Hi, I'm Danny from PC Paramedics and today, I'll be showing you how to install Office Windows 2007 on your computer. Okay, the version I'm installing today is Office home and student 2007. There are 3 or 4 different versions of Windows 2007 ranging from the home version to the office and professional business level.

Today, I'm doing home and student so I'm going to enter the CD into the CD tray. This should now bring up a box that will ask me to install the software. If the box does not appear, you can go and do it manually via clicking start on your computer, my computer, and double clicking on the CD drive icon like so.

Once the box has come up, it will ask you if you want to install by entering a product key. The product key can be found on the sticker on the back or inside the original office box you have purchased. Once the key has been entered, it will ask you to accept the licence and agreement, it is worth reading this, click continue.

Then you have two options, either install the full package or customize. If you click install now, it will install all programs included in your particular CD and version of office. If you click customize, that will allow you to install particular programs and un-install other programs.

Today, we are only going to install Excel. So I'll click install now. This will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Once installed, it will ask you to reboot your computer. Once rebooted, office is now on your computer and that is how you install Office 2007 onto your PC. |This video shows step by step how to install Office 2007 onto your computer.

If followed correctly, then you will be able to install the full version or just Excel.
