This video explains how to install a game to your Xbox 360. Whether you have an older or newer model without the storage, this guide will be very helpful for you to install a game.
I'm going to tell you how to install a game on your Xbox 360, hard disc or other storage. The reason to do this is the game will run slightly quicker with it installed. Also, the Xbox 360 has a loud DVD drive once it's running and you'll have a quieter experience.
To get started, you need to put your game in the Xbox DVD and it will appear on your dashboard. If you press Y and go to game details, there's an option to install the game. Some 360's come with the hard drive built in.
Newer models are only 4 gigabytes. To install games on those, you're going to need to add storage of your own. You can do this by putting a USB memory stick into the front of the console.
The first thing you need to do with your memory storage unit is to configure it to Xbox. You need to select the storage you want to use, then click the Configure Now button. Your 360 will now set up that storage device for you to install your game onto.
When it's finished, go back to the dashboard and install the game. Just click Y to install the game. It'll take a little while to install the game but it'll take a while to install the DVD. .
