Hi, my name is Sam, I've been a bowler for 20 years and today, we're here at Rowans Finsbury Park, and today, I will be showing you how to bowl. How to join a bowling tournament? Once you've joined a league, you'll probably become a member of the BTBA, the British Tenpin Bowling Association. Once you have this membership, this opens up chances for you to enter tournaments all over the country.
Most tournaments you'll find are very different. To the structure of them, they could be doubles, they could be trios etc. etc.
You'll probably find a whole tournament we've played over maybe 2 or 3, maybe even 4 weekends depending on how big the tournament is. The biggest tournament in the country over the year, is the Nationals where everybody always wants to go to. .
