Right, so if you're getting started on a skateboard, like if you are a complete beginner, you're going to get your skateboard and there are two stances, there's goofy like I am, which is right foot forward, left at the back going that way, or then there's regular which is left foot forward, right foot going that way, obviously. So yeah, the key thing with setting off on a skateboard is just front foot, whether you are goofy or regular, it's always going to be over the front bolt. So, you're going to be solid in that leg, shoulders straight, standing sideways.
Then just push off, that front foot's always going to want to be on the bolt. So once you get the hang of riding the skateboard and you figure you what stance you're going to be, I'm goofy again, so I'll teach you how to do the Ollie. You're going to want to have your feet in the pocket, like nice in the middle of the tail, you fit quite flat just behind the bolts.
So basically, you're popping down on the tail and then your foot's like running up the board to level it out. Speed is a big key, then pop, jump and land, four things. And that's how to make the board jump up, so pop, scoop, speed and land.
