Step 1: You will need
Step 2: Get wiping
Take an everyday tumble dryer sheet and wipe it over your entire television screen. Tumble dryer sheets have an antistatic ingredient that repels dust, so you are effectively protecting your screen from those pesky particles.
Cover the base and sides as well.
Finally, don't forget the remote control, dust loves to settle around the buttons.

Most flat screen TV's displays scratch easily. Some dryer sheets contain tiny glass fibers that can scratch the surface. Check your owner's manual for your flat screen TV.
What were the rubber gloves intended for?
Cool.:)
can theback of a television be cleaned the same way?
It should first clean the screen and then the other parts of TV
It should take only a cloth for the display and one for the cabinet of the TV
NO NO NO !! Had to reclean the TV after trying this as the tumble dry sheet are slightly moist and smear, leaving residue all over the item being cleaned. Quite pointless... Paul (Reading)
If you don't have a tumble dryer and therefore do not use tumble dryer sheets then make your own anti-static cloth. Use a quarter pint of warm water and mix into it a tablespoonful of fabric conditioner (the sort you use in your washing machine). Soak a clean cloth in the mixture then wring it out until the cloth feels almost dry. You now have your own anti-static wipe which has the added bonus of making your room smell nice! Because you can never be too careful with electricity, make sure your tv set is turned OFF before you wipe it
great tip - thanks!
Going to have try this when I get home on my PS3.
