So, you've got an ant problem, what are you going to do about it? There are various methods that you can use. There are sprays that you can use, and the places to look for ants are always along the junction of the walls. So, what you do is you get your spray and you basically apply it.

Again, before you use any product, I always mention you fully understand what you're using, always read the label, always wear any appropriate personal protective equipment. If it tells you to wear a mask, wear gloves, wear goggles, then you make sure that you wear them. So, again, always read the label, can't stress that enough.

So you've got liquid sprays, there are also powders on the market, some of those are being phased out, nowadays. What we're moving on to, more often than not, these little bait stations. These contain an ant bait, you snap off the little lugs.

You would place these in the areas where you see the ants. They can go in through the little openings, they can feed on the contents, they often bring it back to the nest as well and you get control of the colony that way. Another method you can use, old-fashioned method, hot water.

Just get yourself a kettle of hot water. If you can see the ants going down into the hole, you know, you might have to lift the slab, then pour the water on them. I know it sounds cruel but it's very quick, it's instant, it's effective.

Just obviously again, you're using boiling water. Again, just make sure that you don't trip up and burn yourself or scald yourself. Make sure where you're pouring it, it's safe to pour it.

With that process, you might find that you have to repeat that action a few times before you get control, might take a few weeks but you'll get there eventually. And that's a few methods on how you can kill ants. .
