Follow these easy steps to naturally keep your toothbrush clean and bacteria free. Your toothbrush can be a breeding ground for bacteria. If you leave your toothbrush near someone else's, you could be spreading colds much more easily than you think. Follow these easy steps to naturally keep your toothbrush clean and bacteria free.

Step 1: A New Solution

Fill the bottom of a cup with some hydrogen peroxide and some water. Put your bristles into the solution and shake it around. The hydrogen solution is a natural disinfectant and will kill bacteria on your bristles.

Step 2: A Clean Rinse

Before applying your favorite toothpaste, rinse your toothbrush with water. If you want a natural whitening effect, you can apply your toothpaste without rinsing your brush. The hydrogen peroxide will naturally help to whiten your teeth.

Hydrogen Peroxide is awesome. H202 It kills bacteria by releasing the extra oxygen atom, thus suffocating anaerobic organisms. Over use of a high concentration of H202 could cause fuzzy tongue, this can be reversed by halting use for a few days, however H202 is used in some mouthwashes and in nearly all whitening toothpastes, the dosage is the key, I'd recommend 3% or less. Fluoride sucks, it is BAD for your teeth and your body, there is nothing good about it AT ALL, it should NOT be in toothpaste or water... or sprayed on crops, it shouldn't be anywhere.
