Hi, I'm Simon from Box Smart. I'm an Amateur Boxing Association qualified boxing tutor. Today, I'm going to go through some boxing techniques with you.

Firstly, in your set position you throw a jab here. Again, jab which is with your lead hand. Remember all of your power comes from your hips and your legs.

So, here, jab. Okay, next punch being the cross. Rear hand, cross, coming through here.

Again, cross. Other hand always protecting your head. Hip movement is really important.

Then, the hook. Lead hand hook there. Palm facing downwards.

Elbow in line with your shoulder. Then, finally the rear hand uppercut is coming through there. Nice short punch.

Moving upwards. All power coming from your hips and legs there. That's how to learn boxing punches.

When you practice your boxing punches, always do it in a safe environment. If you're doing it with a sparring partner it's always good to touch gloves first so that you know you're ready to engage, and when learning the boxing punches for the beginning, go through, you can always research videos and look at different places to find the information and then once you've got the information, go over the punches. Practice them on your own, shadow boxing or in the mirror.

Remember, practice makes perfect and just keep practicing and doing the same movements over and over again and muscle memory. Eventually, you'll get those movements off to a tee. That's how to learn boxing punches. .
