This video demonstrates how to make rounded letters with a calligraphy pen. It focuses of the difference in heights, widths and forms.
Hi, I'm Jacob from Calico Studio in London. If you want, you can make the circle more narrow, but you still will got the same lines, which means you will know when I have made more narrow circle, like the same zero, with the finish point around eleven and five o'clock. This is how we will do in our first block, you will make sure your pen is working, and how we are starting to do.
Different letters will have different thickness, different height and form, which means for x height, the letter forms will come from my thickest line, n and x height will form optical line around small letters, five and with width. And capital letters are around seven in width. If you use smaller pen in the same row with the same height, the only difference will be that my letters are smaller.
Five and seven for capital letters. .
