How To Look Older: Make-Up

If you're going for a more mature look, watch as we give Amy a grown-up look with a three-part makeover. In this video, you'll see how some simple make-up tricks can help you look older.

Step 1: Don't Skip The Foundation

Adding foundation to your daily make-up routine will give you a more polished and finished look. A stick foundation will allow you to control how much you put on, ultimately giving you a more even complexion and avoiding that "caked on" look.

Step 2: Dramatic Eyes

Don't be scared to go the extra mile with eye make-up. Using three colors adds a bit more sophistication. Apply the lightest of the colors up to the brow, the medium color to the crease of the eye and the darkest goes only on the outside of the lid.

Step 3: Stick With Matte

When going after a more mature look, stay away from shimmer and shiny colors. Use matte instead. This applies to blush, eye shadow, face powder and lip color.
