How To Look Older: Wardrobe
If you're going for a more mature look, watch as we give Amy a grown-up look with a three-part makeover. In this installment, you'll see how a few easy adjustments to your wardrobe will help you look older and feel more sophisticated.
Step 1: Less Is More
When trying to look more mature with your wardrobe, keep the accessories simple. No big costume jewelry and no gigantic hoop earrings. A nice watch can look very sophisticated.
Step 2: Closed Toe
When picking your shoes, make sure to pick ones with a closed toe. A classic pump is very sophisticated. Stay away from flip-flops, ballet flats and platform sandals.
Step 3: Show Your Shape
One of the best ways to look mature is to show your womanly curves. Stay away from baggy t-shirts and try cinching a belt around your waist instead.

Tips & Comments
Uh avril lavigne is 26-not a teenager-though she dresses like one I suppose. I really like this though.
the make-up helped but i think her hair should have been shoulder lengh because the bob made her look just as young and she looked flat chested with the baggy clothes on but the t-shirt didn't help either
I thought the make over was a nice try, but I would have given her a different hair cut and different clothing.
I didn@t like any of the clothes on her. What ever happened to a simple white blouse, black skirt, dress jacket and heels?
ugh the only good thing about this makeover was the makeup artists work otherwise they made her look like a 13 year old dressing up in moms old 70's clothes
i think she looked hotter before the clothes makeover. why would you put someone with such a beautiful body in baggy clothes?!?!
The evening outfit is a disaster. And no more Converses? They never go out of style!
The evening shirt is... hideous...
