Hi! I'm Laura Campbell from Babyladies and I'm going to be giving you some tips on how to look after your newborn and how to achieve the birth that you want. How to lose the baby fat. This is the million dollar question in a million dollar industry that surrounds around it.
It is basic math. You spend nine months growing a baby. It can take up to nine months for that bump to go down again.
So I, especially if your breast feeding, it's really, really important that you don't just go on a fat diet and stop eating because you're needing to stay healthy and fit for your baby to be able to look after your newborn. So make sure that you're getting a nutritious diet, that you're eating sufficiently, that you're drinking enough, and the main thing is to get out there with your baby and have fun. There's lots of different things you can do, for example, in the local park, to me, there are running mommies and everyone goes out with their buggies and they have a little run or a walk around the park.
They get support from other mothers. It's fantastic for your emotional health, you're getting fresh air, and you're baby's getting fresh air as well. So your baby's going to sleep a little better.
So the other thing you can do, if you really feel like you have put on a little bit too much during pregnancy is you can contact Weight Watchers. They have a really good plan for breast feeding mothers as well. And it will just be a sensible diet where you can lose two pounds a week and it's going to take time.
