How To Lose Weight Fast And Easy
In this video, life coach Kyle Newman tells us the secret to losing weight fast and easy.
Hi. Today, I am talking to you about how to lose weight fast and easy. A little tricky that one because actually, to lose it fast is harder than to lose it gradually, so I'll do my best, kind of give you my tips to how to keep making it easy and to do it fast.
So, let's focus fast first. Fast is about cutting down on sugar, eliminating sugar from your diet. Forget the old stuff you have learnt about calorie control diets, low fat diets.
Really focus on losing your sugar from your diet, your carbohydrate. So, do a week long, seven days without hardly any sugar. Cut out sweets, cut out biscuits, you know, all the stuff you would normally cut out in a diet, but also cut out bread, pasta, potatoes, alcohol, milk, everything that has a sugar content, fruit, and focus on getting the carbohydrate your body needs from vegetables sources and salad.
That's the only carbohydrate that you will eat for that seven day period. Once you've done that, you can rebalance lightly, and shift your diet to around 20% of your calories from carbohydrates, about 50%-60% from protein and about 20%-30% from fat. If you stick to that for an on-going period, you will then really lose weight fast, only more likely to keep it off.
Exercise-wise, lift weights. I know it might seem a bit kind of backwards in terms of thinking, but actually by putting on muscle, you're going to help your body by burning more calories, and burn weight faster, then keep it off once you've lost it. Women, contrary to popular belief, don't put muscle on that easily, so don't worry about getting overly muscular by lifting those heavy weights than you would normally do, need to burn the excess fat your body holds, so that is really about cardiovascular exercise, the more you do, the more weight, the more calories you're going to burn off.
Mix it up with aerobic exercise, moderate duration, you know, running, cycling, aerobics classes, dancing, whatever works for you. With some interval training, high intensity interval training, fast sprints, thirty seconds, nine seconds rest, repeat that six, seven, eight times with a warm up and a cool down and that will take care of the exercise element of it. And then the other bit, particularly when coming to fast and easy, is really about your head and your mindset because actually, what makes weight loss hard is what goes on up here, in your brain and how you think about it, feeling like you're depriving yourself or it's difficult.
The nutritional approach will help with the hunger bit, by killing the sugar out, you cut out the hunger pangs so then it's about the mindset, working on the issues that have had you gain weight in the first place and overeat, and also working on how you think your weight loss approach to keep it easy rather than make it feel hard.
