How To Lose Weight For Teens
Losing weight for a teenager is an important thing. Get important tips on how to do it in a healthy and fun way, and avoid commonly made mistakes.
What's making you want to lose weight? Are you getting pressured from other people into being, to have, be a certain size or be a certain shape or is it coming from you, are you feeling not healthy, you fill you're not fit, a bit overweight and you want to lose weight so you feel better about yourself or do you, do you have a real negative body image. Even if you're slim, some people still might want to loose weight, because they want to get even thinner. So just work out what it is that's making you want to lose weight and who you want to lose weight for.
Is it for you? Is it so you can feel healthier, and all better about your body and more comfortable. Or is it because, you know, your boyfriend or girlfriend wants you to look a certain way, or your sister or brothers or your friends are giving, you know, making jokes about you being too big? In which case, you're feeling pressured into losing weight. Obviously, to lose weight a healthy way, you need you to feel that it's a right thing for you to do, and not because you're being pressured into it by anyone else.
What weight do you want to be? You know, you thinking of a particular size or your thinking of just loosing, dropping down a dress size to being like a fourteen or a twelve. Or you wanted to be much, much, thinner and be more of a size zero. Is it realistic? You know, do you know your body shape? People all types of body sizes, and natural body shapes and some people naturally have got more of a curve to them, or they carry more weight on them then other people.
So just accept that you have a certain weight and notice in your family what's the kind of body size that's around in your family, you know, there may be people that just will never be a size ten, you know, or will never be, you know, particularly musty, if the guys you'll always be quite slim. And some of it will be about you getting use to just learning to, to be happy with how you are. But if you still wanted to lose weight, and you wanting to lose weight healthfully, and some of the most obvious things are to do with, start with exercise and diet.
And diet, when I say diet, I'm talking more about what you eat and how you eat it. The actual, the diets that we hear about are, in a lots and so many types of diets, and there's a lot of money making diet industry. And the reason they make a lot of money is because generally they don't work, so people go back and do them time and time again.
So to be really healthy and lose weight, it's to find a whole different way of eating food and having a different type of relationship with food. So start learning about food. Educate yourself about the different food types and things that you should be eating and things that aren't going to be good for you.
Junk food obviously, isn't good for you, and will put weight on you. So find out about fats and sugars and fibers and, you know, proteins, and work out the kinds of things you shouldn't be cutting out on, and the kind of foods that you should be cutting out on. Find out as well when to eat.
Missing breakfast is rarely, rarely a good thing. Particularly for teenagers, it's really important you to start off the day with a healthy breakfast. And it's, if anything, you've got to learn to try not to snack.
It's often snacking where people eat the wrong sorts of food and put weight on. If you're kind of coming out of school and then you buying chicken chips, or something, and then you're not eating the kind of the healthy food that your mom and dad prepared for you. You're more likely to put weight on in that case.
So, just work out on a kind of diet plan for you. A way of eating that's going to be healthy, that's going to avoid junk food, and try and stick to it. Get people to do it with you, to encourage you, so tell friends that you're going to stop eating chocolate and you want them to, to not buy you chocolate or give you crisps, etc.
