How To Maintain Acrylic Nails

Hello my name's Laura Bliss. I've been a nail technician now for the past twelve years. I'm currently teaching at the London College of Beauty Therapy on the nail courses there.

OK so to maintain your acrylic nails at home, you need to make sure that you're coming back for regular in-fills every 2-3 weeks. In between treatments you can file your nails, and just buff over the in-fill line around the cuticle. Make sure you're using cuticle oil and hand cream every day, and if they do lose their shine, you can just put a topcoat on every other day.
