How To Make A Banana Daiquiri

Step 1: You will need

  • 50 ml light rum
  • 25 ml banana liqueur
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 1 50/25ml measuring cup
  • 1 wooden pestle (or similar)
  • 1 electric blender
  • 1 sharp knife
  • 1 chopping board
  • 1 large wine glass

Step 2: Prepare your cocktail

Take some ice cubes and crush them using the wooden pestle. Put a few scoops of the ice into the jug of the blender.

Add the light rum and banana liqueur.

Take the banana and remove both ends. Reserve the shorter end to use for decoration later. Next, peel away the skin, cut the banana in half and add it to the jug. Follow this with the sugar.

Put jug on blender, secure the lid and blend at a medium speed for 1 minute.

Step 3: Present your cocktail

Pour the drink into the wine glass, decorate with a banana slice, add a couple of straws and serve.
