Step 1:

You will need...

  • 2 tsp coarse salt
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 50 ml tequila
  • 25 ml blue Curacao
  • 50 ml lime juice
  • ice cubes
  • 1 saucer
  • 1 25ml/50ml measure
  • 1 cocktail glass
  • 1 cocktail shaker
  • 1 strainer (if the shaker doesn't include one)

Step 2:

Prepare your cocktail

Begin by heaping the salt onto the saucer. Then rub the rim of the cocktail glass with the wedge of lime and dip it in the salt. Reserve the lime for garnishing with later.
Next, put several ice cubes in the shaker and add the tequila, blue curacao and lime juice.
Put the lid on and shake well.

Step 3:

Present your cocktail

Strain the drink into the ready-prepared cocktail glass. Garnish with the wedge of lime from before and enjoy your Blue Margarita as the ultimate in poolside chic!
