How To Make A Buzz Lightyear Cocktail

Step 1: You will need:

50 ml which is approximately 2 fl oz rum
a banana
a passion fruit
75 ml which is approximately 3 fl oz guava juice which is
25 ml which is approximately 1 fl oz mango juice
and some crushed ice

For an added energy boost you could also add a teaspoon or 5 ml or guarana

You'll also need the following utensils.

a knife
a chopping board
a blender
a tall glass
To measure out the ingredients, use a standard single shot measure which is equivalent to 25 ml or approximately 1 fl oz and a standard double shot measure which is equivalent to 50 ml or approximately 2 fl oz. If you don't have one of these you could use a measuring jug or measuring spoons instead. Use a standard bar spoon or an ordinary teaspoon.

Step 2: Banana

Slice up half a banana.

Step 3: Passion Fruit

Chop a passion fruit in half and scrape one half into the blender.

Step 4: Rum

Add 50 ml or 2 fl oz of Rum to the blender.

Step 5: Guava Juice

Next, add 75 ml or 3 fl oz of Guava Juice

Step 6: Mango Purée

25 ml or 1fl oz of Mango purée

Step 7: Guarana

and the 5 ml or 1 teaspoon of guarana, although this bit is optional.

Step 8: Crushed Ice

If you want to make your drink a little fresher, add a little bit of crushed ice to the blender. It will make the drink a little less thick, and even more refreshing.

Step 9: Blend

Blend the ingredients on a high speed setting for about 10 seconds until smooth

Step 10: Pour

Pour the cocktail mix into the glass.

Step 11: More ice

If you like, you can add a little more ice to the top it up.

Step 12: HANDY HINT

Always add the ice after pouring as you don't know how full the glass will be.

Step 13: Garnish

Put the other half of the passion fruit onto a cocktail stick, and place it into the glass. Garnish.
