How To Make A Cactus Bite Cocktail

Step 1: You will need
- 50 ml tequila
- 50 ml lemon juice
- 2 tsp Cointreau
- 2 tsp Drambuie scotch whisky
- Half tsp caster sugar
- 1 dash bitters
- Ice cubes
- 1 chopping board
- 1 knife
- 1 squeezer
- 1 shot measure
- 1 cocktail shaker
- 1 strainer (if the shaker doesn't include one) or small sieve
- 1 cocktail glass
Step 2: Prepare your cocktail
First, let's make the lemon juice.
Slice a lemon in half.
Then squeeze both halves and keep the juice handy to use shortly.
Next, put several ice cubes in the shaker.
Then, measure out 50 millilitres of tequila, more or less a large splash, and pour it over the ice.
Follow this with 50 millilitres of the lemon juice.
Now add a dash of Cointreau
And a dash of Drambuie scotch whisky
Then half a teaspoon of caster sugar
And finally, a dash of bitters.
Fix the lid tightly onto the shaker, then holding both ends, shake it at angle for about 20 seconds.
Now remove the lid and attach the strainer or small sieve.
Step 3: Present your cocktail
Gently pour the drink out into a cocktail glass and serve while chilled.
