How To Make A Caramel Macchiato
A caramel macchiato is the ultimate decadent coffee drink, and perfect as a treat on a cold day! In this step by step guide David Littlejohn, owner of LJ Coffee House in Soho, shows you how to make one.

Ingredients
- 15 ml caramel syrup
- milk
- caramel sauce
- double espresso
Step 1: Add the Caramel
Add 15 ml of caramel syrup to a tall glass.
Step 2: Steam the Milk
Steam some milk and polish it by swirling and tapping it on a work surface. Pour the steamed milk to the top of the glass.
Step 3: Add the Espresso
Pour a double espresso over the back of a spoon into the milk, leaving it floating at the top of the glass. Top with some caramel sauce.
