Serves:
1

Step 1: You will need

  • 1 Banana
  • 250 ml Chocolate milk
  • 2 tbsp Peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 8 Ice cubes
  • 1 knife
  • some greaseproof paper
  • 1 measuring jug
  • 1 blender
  • 1 serving glass

Step 2: Freeze the Banana

To give the drink a thicker consistency and keep it cold, freeze the banana in advance. Peel the banana and chop it into quarters. Wrap it in greaseproof paper and put it in the freezer for a couple of hours.

Step 3: Blend

Pour the 250ml of chocolate milk into the blender. Add 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and a tablespoon of honey.

HANDY HINT:
Adding the liquid ingredients first, stops the frozen fruit from blocking the blending mechanisms.

Remove the banana from the freezer, unwrap and add to the blender. Then add about 8 ice cubes. Place the lid on firmly, and blend until the mixture is smooth, or the consistency you'd like.

Remove the lid and pour the smoothie into a tall glass. Drop in a couple of straws and enjoy.
