Step 1: You will need
- 25 ml coconut liqueur
- 50 ml light rum
- 10 ml coconut syrup
- 10 ml water
- ice cubes
- 1 25ml/50ml measure
- 1 mixing glass
- 1 bar spoon or stirrer
- 1 strainer
- 1 cocktail glass
- 1 squeezer
- 1 knife
- 1 chopping board
Step 2: Prepare the cocktail
Before you prepare the cocktail, begin by chilling the cocktail glass - either by putting it in the freezer or by filling it with ice cubes.
Half fill the cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
Measure out and pour in 25ml of coconut liqueur and 50ml of light rum.
Into the cocktail shaker add 10ml of coconut syrup and 10ml of water.
Using the chopping board and the knife, cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice from one half into the shaker.
Ensuring that the lid is secure, shake vigorously.
Step 3: Present
Attach a strainer to the top of the cocktail glass and pour the mixture into the chilled martini glass. An excellent way to transport yourself to more tropical surroundings… even if you are in the office!
